Sermon Notes
During the years in which I served as a pastor I delivered many sermons, but had little time to turn more than a few into essays.
Now, as an aging writer with trickling energy and fading eyesight, I think the best way to preserve these labors of love is simply to post my sermon notes.
Detailed as those they are, interested readers should be well able to follow the flow of the presentation, and in some cases hear the old preacher’s voice sounding forth.
Occasionally you will need to click on the sermon title and take a quick look at the contents in order to determine the day’s text(s) and/or subject matter.
Frequently you will run across the acronym HSL, which is code for Holy Spirit Leads. That’s when the preacher lets go of the outline and takes a little free flight.
I hope you will find each of these sermons to be a true horn of plenty, containing wholesome and delicious fruit gleaned from many hours prayerful work in God’s great Garden of Truth, the Bible.
